IDOT, Lochner, and Farnsworth Group in conjunction with ACEC Illinois will be hosting a seminar on IDOT specification, special provisions, and plan notes. Numerous IDOT District One Bureau of Design managers will be in attendance of this event to provide a good networking opportunity to consultants.
The goals will be to better understand different contract documents, the hierarchy of these documents, when and how to write effective special provisions and plan notes, when to create pay items, and to better understand District One requirements.
